  Lake George RV Park Review Lake George RV Park is a peculiar place. It’s well maintained, but the overall atmosphere feels oddly sterile and impersonal. We stayed there over the weekend, and I came away with the same conclusion many other guests seem to have: it’s expensive for what you actually get. At roughly $200 a night, I expected a true resort experience. Instead, it feels like an optical illusion. On paper, it looks like it offers more than the surrounding campgrounds, but in practice the amenities aren’t much different—a pool and a place to hook up your RV. Other parks in the area provide a similar experience for less money. What really stands out is the lack of anything for adults. There’s nowhere to grab a decent dinner with friends, nowhere to have a cocktail, and very little nightlife or social atmosphere. If you’re traveling without young kids, or you’re looking for a place where adults can actually unwind after a day in Lake George, this isn’t it. The food was disappointing, the staff came across as stoic rather than welcoming, and after you’ve spent a while at the pool, there’s simply not much left to do. The entire place has a strangely rigid, almost camp-like atmosphere that wasn’t what I expect from something marketed as a resort. For my money, I’d recommend places like Lake George Escape, Moose Hillock, or other nearby campgrounds that do a better job of creating an enjoyable experience for both kids and adults. If all you want is a quiet place to park your RV, you may be perfectly happy here. But if you’re paying premium resort prices, I think it’s fair to expect premium resort amenities—and I don’t think this park delivers.

  If I could give this RV resort more than five stars, I absolutely would. We've stayed at RV parks all over the country, and this is, without question, one of the finest we've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that this isn't just a business—it's a labor of love. Every inch of the property is impeccably maintained. The landscaping is beautiful, the sites are spacious and well-kept, the facilities are spotless, and you can tell that attention has been paid to even the smallest details. What impressed me most wasn't just how beautiful the resort is, but the standard of care. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making guests feel welcome. It's rare to find a place where the level of service consistently matches the quality of the property. This family-owned resort has been welcoming guests since 1966, and that legacy shows. They have clearly spent decades building something special while continually investing in the guest experience. Yes, it's a premium resort—but after staying here, I can honestly say it's worth every penny. This is one of those places where you leave feeling like you received more value than what you paid for. Our family has created wonderful memories here, and we are already talking about coming back. If you're looking for an RV resort that sets the standard for cleanliness, hospitality, professionalism, and pride of ownership, this is it. Highly, highly recommended.

  Our first time camping as a family. This park was perfect. Has so many things for the kids to do each day/night. All facilities are super clean and the whole park is very well kept. Staff is amazing. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be coming back! Incredible time !

  If you like unattended and unsupervised, minor children. Electric DIRT BIKES. “not e- assist bikes” driving up and down the roads in excess of 25 mph zigzag in between the campers and driving through campsites. This is the campground for you. If you enjoy unattended dogs tied out to campers while the families are probably off downtown somewhere, this is the place for you.
