  This was our first time staying at a motorcoach resort and we were pleasantly satisfied with this one. Site 29 which had a patio in front of the campsite with a Pacific view. We were worried (from satellite photos) that we would not fit due to the patio in the front. But our 44ft motorhome had no issues fitting into this site. The paths to the beach were beautiful. This park is very nicely landscaped. The roads are easy to navigate. The pools looked nice but we didnt use because it was cold and rainy. Site 159 - I saw a lot of negative comments about the upkeep of this site so I went to check it out - it looks like it has improved since the negative reviews and photos. We would stay here again.

  From April 2026 in a 36 ft Class A RV Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort was the second major stop on our multi-week RV road trip, and it exceeded our expectations. We had always been curious about what it would be like to stay at a true motorcoach resort, and this five-day stay gave us the perfect opportunity to find out. By the end of our visit, we knew the answer: this is definitely a style of RV travel we enjoy. We worked remotely from the RV during the day and spent our afternoons exploring Newport and the surrounding coast. The views from our site were outstanding, and we never grew tired of looking out the front window at the scenery. In fact, our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. During our stay, we enjoyed several of the resort amenities, including the indoor pool and hot tub, and we took an evening walk down to the beach. The combination of beautiful views, well-maintained facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere made this one of the highlights of our trip. We would absolutely return to Pacific Shores in the future, especially when we're looking for a place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the Oregon coast for a few days.

  We've been to this park three times now. It advertises itself as luxury and premium. The location and views can't be beat. The sites are nice and spacious. However, this visit we experienced for the first time a pretty poor upkeep of a site that our traveling partners stayed in. The site had no amenities which is disappointing when you're paying what we paid per night. But the biggest issue was pavers were used on a good portion of the site and those pavers had become inundated with weeds. Someone had sprayed the weeds to kill them but not bothered to remove them before guests arrived which left a pretty unsightly brown carpet to stay on. Several calls and visits were made to management to ask them to clean things up. Their comment was the owners are arriving later this month and will take care of it. That doesn't sit very well with a guest that's paying a premium price for a site today not later this month and there was no further action despite complaints and suggestions of cleaning it up. My conclusion is that Meredith Vacations, which is the name of a management company, simply facilitates reservations and collects money but they have no role or interest in maintaining the sites or satisfying customers. So in the future I don't plan nor do I recommend staying in this park as there are many others up and down the Oregon coast that are equally beautiful who also care about their customers experience.

  We chose a "View" site that was next to the top price tier. It was advertised as "well maintained and like new." When we arrived to our site# 159 the pavers were full of weeds, some cracked, and an uneven site. We were very disappointed based on the price and the condition of the site. I talked to one of the staff and there comment was "the owner will be here next week and will take care of it." I explained that we were only there for 4 nights, he offered no other consolation or any concern for our disappointment. The next day I went to the office and talked to the manager, she also was very unsympathetic and said she had to talk to someone else. To say the least, no one ever got back to us! The rest of the park is nice, but definitely not worth the price. The TV's were not working in the gym (very small gym), and the advertised pickleball court was full of leaves and branches. The most frustrating part is the lack of customer service of the staff, they completely blew off our concerns and nobody appeared to have any concern for the fact that we booked this months in advance and paid a premium price for a poorly maintained site. We will not stay at this park again and certainly not recommend to anyone! We camped at Pacific Shores Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.
