  We stayed here for 7 nights and used it as a jumping off point to visit Natchez, and Natchez Trace. The park is located on US61 and is minutes away from the Trace and downtown Natchez. That's the good news. Don't base your expectations of this park on the website photos; you'll be disappointed. This is a tired old park that hasn't seen any love in some time. There appears to be no maintenance whatsoever, as we had to clear tree limbs and debris off of our site before we could pull in. Our pad was partially stone and partially concrete and was level. The utilities were all functional, and the park Wi-Fi worked very well. 5G cell phone reception on my AT&T phone was good enough to use it as a hotspot. My wife's Verizon phone had a much better signal. There are a decent number of off-air TV channels. Some sites have picnic table, some don't. The roads are broken asphalt but manageable. Our site had a huge disparity between the concrete pad and the road surface caused by a concrete swale used to manage water runoff. To avoid bottoming out our diesel pusher while backing in, we were able to pull in from another direction and avoid the bump. That's not possible in all of the sites. Make sure you know where your site is, and how to get there. The streets in the park are dead ends, and some of the sites change orientation as you go farther down a street. You will not be able to turn around if you make a mistake. Google maps indicates that you can drive straight through the park, but that is not true. There is a site map on the website, but you will not be given any information when you check in. We had to walk around the park to find the dumpsters. Next to the dumpsters are the showers and the laundry. Both showers were unlocked and were filthy. The laundry had the type of lock used by realtors, and the code provided would not open it. So no laundry, and no showers. When we checked in, the manager gave us a business card that contained the park's main phone number. We were told that the main park number would forward to the manager's cell phone after hours. We tested that information one night, when a nearby campsite started playing very loud music. With both air conditioner fans running in our RV, you could still hear the music. I called the number on the card and it went to voicemail with a message that the voicemail mailbox was not set up. I tried a second time and someone answered. I complained about the loud music to the person on the phone and they said they would try to do something about it. The volume level of the music quieted for a while, and then ramped back up. It went on well past the start of quiet hours, and when I called the park number again, it went to the voicemail message. I tried at least a dozen times with no answer. Eventually the noisy campers called it a night, somewhere around 10:30 PM. Around midnight, my phone rang twice, waking up both of us. I didn't answer it and there was no message. I can't confirm if it was the manager calling. If this had been a serious problem, like no power, no water, or something worse, no one would answer the phone. Keep that in mind if you stay here. Make sure you have water onboard your rig and a working generator, you may need both. There is some highway noise from US61. Douglas Road appears to be a thoroughfare to the mobile home park adjacent to the RV park, and to Firetown Road. Douglas Road seems to attract vehicles with very loud exhaust. If you are a light sleeper, you may have a problem sleeping here. The allure of this park is the inexpensive rates. We paid $44 a night plus taxes for a full hookup. Except for the lack of response for the noisy neighbors, our stay at Plantation RV Park was without incident. Based on the poor response to our noisy neighbor problem, and the overall poor condition of the park, I doubt we would stay here again. Your mileage may vary.

  We needed a last minute long term rv reservation. We called and called but no one ever answered so we just showed up and paid for a night online. Next day, worker gets there and I pay for a month which was a ridiculous price for what the park is, $750. Leaves are everywhere, broken sidewalks, laundry room is disgusting and the dryer took one 2 hours to dry our clothes. We ended up leaving after 2 weeks because we found a closer campground to my husband’s job which was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. And only got $130 refund. I cannot get over the price of this park. I’ve stayed at VERY nice parks for the same price and this was nothing like those. The only positive about this park was that the woman at the front office was wonderful.

  Polite courteous staff making the most of what they have. However..... this facility proves you get what you pay for. The address does not agree with your GPS therefore it is difficult to find the place. The campground is located next to a busy highway and is part of or adjoins a trailer park full of old scary and abandoned trailers. This is the first site that I have camped at that I would be hesitant to allow my family to walk through at night. Management allows loud barking dogs. The site next to ours had a large barking dog that barked at everything that moved from sunup until after dark. Dog was on a long leash that came to within 7 feet of my truck door when I got out at night. Very unnerving. Only had one pull through site and the rest required backing up over a curb to park your rig in the site. Not very big rig friendly. The closest store had bars on the windows. Would not recommend this facility for any less that a dire emergency.

  Do not make a reservation here!!!!! If for some reason you have to change them they will not answer the phone and keep charge your card for the stay!!!!! These folks are a joke!!!! Go right across the river to the Louisiana side and there is an awesome park on the river.
