  If you don't mind being inserted into your campsite like a sardine, you will like this Campground. The electrical set up as a shared setup at the back so if you back into the site you have to run your power cord under or around your RV and your hose hookup is right in the middle of the "yard" area. I am unable to put my awning out more than a couple of feet because it would hit my neighbor's slide if I extended it fully. The woman who checked me in was gracious an accommodating when I had to request a second sight because the first sight they put me in was too small, being on a corner. The office area is a big tourist trap as they capitalize on their location to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons (52 miles to the entrance). The location is convenient to the Buffalo Bill Cody Museum of the West. At $72/night (after taxes and fees and with a discount), I would not stay here again.

  Nice, clean, campground. The office staff were incredibly helpful. This location is close to everything you need in Cody, walkable if you want to hook up and stay and there's even a shuttle bus that come around for the rodeo if you want to see that. We walked into town for the Old Western Shootout and it was doable with 2 kids.

  DO NOT STAY. The people here were awful. They were so incredibly rude to me and my wife. We called weeks in advance and they wrote our reservation down and said we were all good to go. We asked about payment they said cash or check when you get here and we thought that was odd but ok. We called two days before we left to travel there and they couldn’t find our reservation. Then they got mad at us because we didn’t mail in a down payment. We explained we weren’t told to and we could give them a card number today and then they got even more rude and called us liars. They so nice on the original conversation and promised us a cabin if we couldn’t get a TP on the original reservation so we called and they didn’t have TP’s and cabins were gone because it’s was the weekend of the 4th of July. Then they told us if we had a tent they would find us a spot, we don’t have a tent we have a camper. When we were talking about what we wanted to do Larry blurted out “Are you coming or not!?” We explained we weren’t told now in a difficult situation trying to figure out if we could get a tent we heard him say “we’ll call back when you make up your mind.” and he tore up the new reservation he was making. Later I’m assuming the manager called us back and told us “we are going out of our way to set up the TP’s so you can now come and stay.” We asked about a spot for our large camper since they didn’t have cabins and would save them the “hassle” of the TP even though we didn’t want to haul it that far for just a night. Then she said “I’ve never had anyone be SOO difficult to work with, but fine we’ll find a spot. How big!?” We told her and she said they couldn’t fit us. These were all problems caused by their staff and we were being blamed for them. We were just astonished at how freaking rude they were when we were just trying to figure out what was actually going on. Place looked nice but we didn’t get to stay because I didn’t want to deal with these people for the weekend. Don’t stay here, go somewhere else.

  We loved it!! It’s quiet and quaint. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Our 40+ ft rv fit perfectly with plenty of room for our slide outs. Plenty of space for dogs as well. We definitely will be returning!!
