  This was our first time ever camping with a travel trailer. And the bar has been set very high. We were lucky to find a spot at the last minute. We were at Penny Lane 21 (PL21). This site has 50A, 30A, sewer, and water. The location is a little tight and Daniel was there to help guide the parking. He explained that it is a quiet get away so they don't host special events or anything like that. And that was EXACTLY what we were looking for. This place was amazing. It is secluded, yet still convenient to so much Asheville and the surrounding areas have to offer. I wish we could have stayed longer. I watched a lot of videos about the drive up. I have a Jayco Jay Flight 28bhs and a 2017 Tundra. No issues at all. They have the check in and check out times set and it controls the traffic. Each site was taken and you could hardly tell here were people around while we were at our site. We are DEFINITELY going to be booking another stay here.

  Campfire Lodgings is a great place to camp in the Asheville area! All employees are phenomenal. We arrived after the check in time, and they provided us with a whole clipboard including a map of Asheville, the campsite, and our placard! Our site was clean and prepared for us to arrive! This campsite is on top of a mountain, so it provides phenomenal views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. You don’t have to get a Mountain View campsite, you can just go to one of the two lookouts to enjoy the view! The bathhouse provides 4 single rooms including a toilet, sink, and shower. There is also a handicap accessible bathroom. The bathhouse is cleaned frequently. If you are in the area, this is the place to set up your camp!!

  Small campground nestled on a mountain top. About 10 premium sites looking down on the French Broad River well worth the extra $$. Other sites as well with beautiful views. Site 19 has an amazing wooden deck. Friendly camp persons with onsite propane. Our second time here and will come again. Yerts and cabins available too!!

  Not big rig friendly. It is up a winding dirt road. Lots of tight turns. Pads are cement on Penny Lane, but they have no view other than trees. Sites are not level so not good for Class A's. There are full hookups with 50 amp, firepit and really nice picnic tables. It could work if you book one of the P sites less than P5 but you still have the climbing dirt road to get there. Skip P1 as it doesn't have a view. There is an open space for viewing the mountains and the sunset.
