Fish Lake Beach Camping Resort

  We've enjoyed Fish Lake for years, our recent stay was for the most part great. However there's a couple things I want to call out. They removed any and all dumpsters from the property making it extremely inconvenient for campers. To force us to drive outside the campground to toss our garbage was ridiculous. There has to be an area inside the grounds where you can throw out the trash OR have someone come around every day to do a pick up for the guests. When we were leaving, our cars were packed so we had nowhere to put the giant garbage bag to drive out with it. The man doing the rounds for checkouts reluctantly took it for us on his golf cart, which i thank him for. But, please rethink this setup as again, its inconvenient. Youve increased the prices so much yet made this a problem. Secondly, if visitors need to abide to the "quiet time" rules, you need to hold residents accountable as well. The street next to the beach front campsites had late gatherings well past 11pm and they we're yelling belligerently well past that time. It was obnoxious and tacky. I love this place and hope Fish Lake will make changes regarding these two call outs because I want to continue staying there.

  We live in South Florida and We’ve been coming here off and on for about 12 years. My husband lost his leg a year ago so this was our first trip with this handicap. The pool and hot tub are so accommodating!! This couple were the nicest staff here!! We appreciate you so much!!! Thank you for your kindness. I didn’t give a 5 star only because we have no car and depended on Uber. We asked the gate if our driver can drop us off at our site. She said “You have 5 minutes”. Seriously, some of the staff could be a little more compassionate.

  Review is based on a resident visitor for over 5 years. We have watched this beautiful campground go completely down hill. The original owners heart and soul was the magic that was the campground. Its very concerning how much alcohol use is encoraged and even raffled off at the parties. Hard liquor and motorized vehicle's do not mix and is very dangerous especially for children and dogs. It is a real shame as the grounds have potential. The fee's were raised and new owners made promises they never kept. The hay day here is over, go somewhere where you will be welcomed and treated like family becaise here is not the place.

  I have not yet camped here but i am jumping on to thank Fish Lake Beach! I was supposed to camp this weekend but due to the air quality and my medical condition I needed to switch my weekend. It was short notice and they were completely accommodating. Very thankful for the help and willingness to work with me so I can still enjoy visiting them later in the summer!
