  We really enjoyed our stay at Savannah Lakes. Every one was very friendly(staff and fellow campers). The clubhouse was very nice with a variety of games to play and multiple separate sitting areas. Pool/hot tub area were nice as well. All bathhouse rooms and restrooms around the resort were very clean and well kept. Hilton Head and Savannah are just a short drive which makes it convenient for day trips to those locations. We didn't have any luck fishing the ponds but did get to see a few gators. We did like that the roads were all concrete which made riding bikes very smooth and enjoyable. Overall it is a nice facility and would definitely go back again.

  We stayed at Savannah Lakes RV Resort as a halfway point on our return to North Carolina from Walt Disney World. Is a resort it is typical of corporate higher-end RV resorts and everything was pretty brand spanking new. Upon arrival I entered the great little convenience store check in Center and was promptly greeted by a friendly staff member who answered all of my questions and made sure I understood how to get to my site. The map was easy to understand and the site was level and clean. It's important to note this is a newer Resort and the grass has still not completely filled in and all of the trees are incredibly young lending a rather Barren ambience. Don't let that dissuade you from visiting however because there is a lot to do. There is a swimming pool the yard was set up for outdoor games and there is a lounge with a variety of indoor games as well. The location is about 25 minutes away from Savannah. My only suggestion for the resort which was priced appropriately would be to maybe add a self-service dog wash station. That really comes in handy for travelers with pets as I remember from when we used to full time. They have a large population of long-term campers but they are located across the lake and don't infringe on this day of overnight travelers. They also appear to be mostly traveling workers who are going to work each day and not just posting up and making this a permanent home

  This is a great RV resort! Some of the stand outs are: paved roads and sidewalks that are easy to navigate, private and clean bath/shower combo rooms with plenty of room to get ready, very nice pool and pavilion, kind staff, very large paved sites for any size RV, and convenient location. There are probably more positives that I didn’t see. The people staying at the resort were quiet and courteous. There were no obnoxious golf cart parades or big partiers. We stayed on Memorial Day weekend so the resort was busy, but we never felt crowded or had to wait for showers. This resort is large but it is set up in a way that accommodates its guests. Downtown Bluffton is a 25 minute drive from the resort. We went into town twice to eat at some of the best restaurants we’ve ever experienced. This was our second visit to Savannah Lakes and we will definitely be going back. We live in the Lowcountry so I am sure there are things we take for granted that visitors would enjoy. Fishing, bird watching, alligator sightings (never felt unsafe), and beaches close by. I highly recommend this RV resort.

  A Hidden Gem — Peaceful, Beautiful, and Pet-Friendly! This place is truly a gem. I stayed in one of the cottages for four weeks while traveling for business, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience—especially having my dog with me. The property is peaceful and quiet, with beautiful wildlife around the ponds that made every day feel relaxing and refreshing. The cottages were clean and well-maintained, with great amenities that made the extended stay very comfortable. There were also fun activities available, which added to the overall experience. I genuinely enjoyed my time here and was truly sad to leave. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and welcoming place to stay.
