  Cold Springs Campground. From five year seasonal overall a terrible experience , Management is hopelessly disconnected, CSCG previous leadership is when I moved in during the days of Conner since Conner‘s departure of one year ago I’ve noticed a serious lack of coordination, empathy, genuine, caring from anybody and everybody at that campground. The campground is managed with lackluster results through part-time seasonal safety officers home, never enforce rules, thoroughly evenly or safely for all guests all seasonal, including this one, I know because I lived there for five years There is a click within the campground of which it seems that if you’re not striving to be the most popular person or the most popular couple, you don’t fit in, a majority of the employees of the campground and of safety all belongs to this group. If you like constant marketing and self promotion that this place is for you. The services of the campground on seasonal sites of which mine was very, very small. I experienced minor flooding, a constant lack of water and periodic power outages. The advertise Wi-Fi is a name only if you’re sitting directly next to the office to make one phone call. The workout area and dog park are a nice feature however, my dog was very seriously injured along the fence by an extended screw . Overall safety of the campground is a spin of the wheel depending on what day and who are. I’ve seen many reviews about CSCG with the owners rebuttal of a safe campground with fun for everybody with the exception of me apparently. The activities at the campground are limited to finger painting and encouraging diabetes while learning to gamble. Outside of crafts they do have visually appealing pools again with adult only semi enforced rules, glass bottles, enclosure, kids in hot tub again, depending on the day and who’s working.. 26 open seasonal sites and counting, CSCG should seriously consider their CM or BBB rating, which I am adjusting for them. It’s too bad about the recorded incident on site last August 15 th. On your property with one of your “employees” It could and should have been handled better .

  Updated review: If I had known that the family-friendly amenities offered during "peak season" were susceptible to change, I would have booked my family vacation for July instead of June. After I left a review with this feedback, they acted quickly by honoring off-peak season pricing for the weekdays during our stay when the amenities would be closed. They were understanding and accommodating. I do hope this problem is avoided in the future by communicating to guests before their arrival of any anticipated closures of amenities. The playground is directly under the sun all day, and the few structures they do have need to be updated. Other than 2 infant swings, all of the playground equipment is for kids over 5. If it weren't for the playground, I would say this is the perfect place to bring kids. The playground area has so much potential and investing in better equipment that's suitable for more ages would be a smart move.

  First the headlines: 400 campsites, 4 full size pools and a couple of hot-tubs, plus a kiddie pool. Incredibly clean and well maintained. Organized activities like bingo, dance lessons, sports and crafts for kids and adults. Saturday night concerts. Themed weekends and lots of open facilities including a large playground, dog park, adult workout park, etc. Camp store and café on site with a good-sized menu. Location in central New Hampshire near Manchester with reasonable road access for big rigs. All main roads inside the park are paved. We camped here for 4 nights with our 7-year-old granddaughter. We selected this place because she loves pools and it's that time of year. Between the candy-bar bingo, crafts, new friends and long afternoons in the pools she was happy the entire stay. We picked a “premium” full hook-up site and got a large pine-tree shaded site that was easy to back into with our 6th wheel. The electrical power, water pressure, and sewer hookups were all suitable. We had a reasonably short walk to the central pool and entertainment areas. She loved every day and wants to go back. OK, so the place is very big. It’s also about 2/3 – ¾ seasonal sites but it had a very friendly and welcoming feel to it. There are still many open rental sites for RVs and tents even with all the seasonals around. Be aware that many people use golf carts to get around and sometimes that makes walking more difficult. But when you get lost, they are happy to stop and help. The “vibe” was family oriented and low stress. The nights were quiet and the days busy. The staff were !terrific! Very helpful, friendly, accommodating, and made us feel like honored guests. Check-in was a breeze. We made the reservations and check-in online. When we pulled in, they had our packet ready, and a guide took us to our site. I never had to get out of the cab. Now, about the rental sites – Some are better than others – larger, shaded, easier to get in and out of. Some require a tight maneuver to back in and out of. Most sites are shaded. The drive-through sites are more open but less shaded and closer to each other. Almost all are fine gravel and level. Some open area group sites are available also. The “premium” sites are worth the extra $$ but most of the sites are fine if you just want a place to stay to enjoy the facilities. Use Google earth view to get a feel for the layout and the sites available to suit your needs. We will go back again, and again, and again.

  It is a campground. Nice sites. Some sites are tight when it is busy. With all the campers as long as a ranch home there isn’t much room to park vehicles and golf carts. After the first time staying here I know the sites I will stay in now.
